There are lots of things going on in the news, check out these links in case you missed them.
- Beyoncé and Jay Z opened the Grammys with an awesome performance of “Drunk in Love.”
The performance is meeting some criticism after people realized one of Jay Z’s lyrics, “Eat the cake, Anna Mae,” is directly related to one of the most infamous people involved in intimate partner violence: Ike Turner.
- Thomas Perkins, a rich businessman, compares the treatment of the rich to victims of the Holocaust.
“I would call attention to the parallels of fascist Nazi Germany to its war on its ‘one percent,’ namely its Jews, to the progressive war on the American one percent, namely the ‘rich,'” Perkins writes.
This ridiculous claim has obviously been under fire in the media.
If a rich man really wants to feel like a holocaust victim, we could take his money, throw him in a ghetto, rip out his teeth then kill him

- Richard Sherman, Seahawks cornerback, speaks out against the word “thug.”
“The reason it bothers me is because it seems like it’s an accepted way of calling somebody the N-word now,” he said.
“I know some ‘thugs,’ and they know I’m the furthest thing from a thug,” Sherman said. “I’ve fought that my whole life, just coming from where I’m coming from. Just because you hear Compton (Calif.), you hear Watts, you hear cities like that, you just think ‘thug, he’s a gangster, he’s this, that, and the other,’ and then you hear Stanford, and they’re like, ‘oh man, that doesn’t even make sense, that’s an oxymoron.’ “You fight it for so long, and to have it come back up and people start to use it again, it’s frustrating.”
- Bullshit attempts to make Wendy Davis look like a bad mother during her campaign for Governor of Texas are sexist and idiotic.
Here are some examples of random tweets. More information and tweets are listed in the article.
Wendy Davis apparently abandoned her children, had her husband foot her bills, and divorced after adultery accusations. #FeministHero

This is how dumb they think women are: make up a single mom’s struggle story and pass it off as your own. #WendyDavis
