Since I’ve been M.I.A. for so long, I would like to catch you up on the things that I noticed the past few days.
- Erick Erickson makes a terrible Twitter comment about life-threatening “back alley” abortions.
- Suzanne Venker publishes another story. “Men–the new second class citizens.” I would say do not even bother with the link; this article doesn’t deserve any more page views. So here is a little portion of it so you can get the hint.
“Yet it is males who suffer in our society. From boyhood through adulthood, the White American Male must fight his way through a litany of taunts, assumptions and grievances about his very existence. His oppression is unlike anything American women have faced. Unlike women, however, men don’t organize and form groups when they’ve been persecuted. They just bow out of the game.”
- Sen. Wendy Davis delivers an almost 13 hour filibuster against an extremely restrictive anti-abortion law. Her victory was shortly defeated after the bill was passed.
- The ruling on the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin case has caused uproar among the people.
